Xiaomi Upgrades 9 Smart Speakers with Built-in Super Xiao Ai, Enabling Cross-Device Voice Control
Xiaomi has rolled out Super Xiao Ai integration to nine smart speaker and smart display models, introducing AI large model capabilities, continuous dialogue, and cross-platform voice control for vehicles and smart home devices. The update also adds WeChat A2A support for voice-activated messaging and calls, alongside new privacy controls.
Xiaomi has officially announced a comprehensive upgrade to its smart speaker ecosystem, bringing Super Xiao Ai (超级小爱) integration to nine different audio and smart display devices. The rollout introduces advanced AI capabilities and seamless cross-device control functionality to the company's IoT lineup.
Expanded Device Support
The following nine Xiaomi speaker products now feature built-in Super Xiao Ai:
- Xiaomi Smart Speaker Pro
- Xiaomi Smart Speaker
- Xiaomi Sound Pro
- Xiaomi Sound 2 Max
- Xiaomi Sound 2 Pro
- Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Max 27
- Xiaomi Smart Home Screen 11
- Xiaomi Smart Home Screen 10
- Xiaomi Smart Home Screen 8 Gimbal Version
Enhanced AI Capabilities
The Super Xiao Ai integration brings several sophisticated features to these devices. Users can now access AI large model-powered question answering, enabling the speakers to handle complex queries across diverse topics. The system also supports multi-turn continuous conversations with human-like tonal responses, creating more natural interaction patterns.
A standout feature is the cross-device multi-command voice control, allowing users to manage vehicles, smart home devices, and information retrieval through single voice instructions. The speakers can now query the status of connected home appliances and create automated smart scenes purely through voice commands.
WeChat A2A Integration
In a significant interoperability development, Super Xiao Ai has integrated with WeChat's A2A (App-to-App) assistant capabilities. This functionality emerges from a broader collaboration between WeChat and major Chinese smartphone manufacturers including Huawei, Honor, OPPO, and vivo.
The integration enables hands-free WeChat operations through voice commands. Users can instruct Super Xiao Ai to "send a WeChat message to [contact]" or "make a WeChat call to [contact]" without manually opening the application. To utilize these features, users must update both WeChat and Super Xiao Ai to their latest versions.
Privacy Controls
Accompanying the WeChat integration, Xiaomi has introduced dedicated privacy settings. Users will find a new "WeChat Voice Control Switch" option within Super Xiao Ai's privacy settings, allowing granular control over voice-activated WeChat functionality.
This upgrade represents Xiaomi's continued push toward comprehensive AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) integration, positioning its speaker lineup as central control hubs for increasingly complex smart home and mobile ecosystems.
