Xiaomi Opens MiMo V2 Models to Developers with Free Week-Long API Access via Major Agent Frameworks
Xiaomi has released its MiMo-V2-Pro, MiMo-V2-Omni, and MiMo-V2-TTS large language models and is offering a one-week free API trial through integrations with five leading developer agent frameworks: OpenClaw, OpenCode, KiloCode, Cline, and BLACKBOX.AI.
Xiaomi has officially launched its latest suite of large language models and is making them immediately accessible to the global developer community through a strategic partnership with several prominent AI agent frameworks.
New Model Releases The company announced the availability of three new models:
- MiMo-V2-Pro: A high-performance general-purpose language model.
- MiMo-V2-Omni: A multimodal model capable of processing both text and visual inputs.
- MiMo-V2-TTS: A dedicated text-to-speech synthesis model.
Free API Access Initiative To accelerate adoption and testing, Xiaomi is collaborating with five agent frameworks to provide a one-week free API access period. Developers can integrate and experiment with the MiMo V2 models at no cost through the following platforms:
- OpenClaw: Configure the model by setting
/model openrouter/xiaomi/mimo-v2-pro(orv2-omni) in chat, terminal, or configuration files. - OpenCode: Select the MiMo V2 Pro or Omni model (marked FREE) within the OpenCode --> Zen interface in terminals, desktop apps, or IDE extensions.
- KiloCode: Choose the MiMo V2 models from the Kilo Gateway section in terminal or IDE interfaces.
- Cline: Select Cline as the provider and choose the
mimo-v2-promodel within supported editors. - BLACKBOX.AI: Access the models directly through its terminal, desktop, or IDE interfaces.
Text-to-Speech Model Access The MiMo-V2-TTS model is available separately through Xiaomi's official API platform at https://platform.xiaomimimo.com. Detailed usage documentation for speech synthesis is provided on the platform.
This move positions Xiaomi's MiMo models directly within popular developer workflows, lowering the barrier to entry for evaluation and integration during the promotional period.
