Rokid Unveils World’s First AI Glasses with WeChat Scan-to-Pay and One-Sentence Taxi Hailing
At the Rokid Open Day 2026, Rokid announced a global first: AI glasses that integrate WeChat’s scan-to-pay, along with one-sentence ride-hailing with AutoNavi, expanding hands-free smart living.
At the Rokid Open Day 2026 global ecosystem and developer conference, Rokid revealed a major leap in wearable AI: its smart glasses now support WeChat’s QR code scan-to-pay—a world first for AI eyewear. Users simply look at a WeChat payment code and speak a command to complete the transaction. This builds on the existing Alipay AI Pay integration, making Rokid the only AI glasses brand currently compatible with both dominant Chinese mobile payment platforms.
Beyond payments, the glasses display real-time navigation and can already unlock shared bikes or handle parking fees. The expansion into WeChat Pay was achieved through a direct collaboration with WeChat, streamlining the entire purchase flow to a glance and a word.
Rokid also announced a partnership with AutoNavi (Gaode Maps) for an AI ride-hailing assistant. Users can hail a taxi with a single spoken sentence—no phone needed. Whether it’s “take me to the airport” or “find the nearest ride home,” the glasses process the request and summon a car immediately, leveraging AutoNavi’s extensive mobility network.
This marks another step toward fully hands-free, voice-driven daily life, where eyewear replaces the smartphone for essential tasks like paying, navigating, and getting around town. The features are rolling out as part of Rokid’s latest software update, available to existing users.
