China's national-level Power Artificial Intelligence Pilot and Testing Base has officially welcomed its first batch of eight leading enterprises and institutions, including Huawei, ZTE, and Baidu. The base, serving as a 'bridge platform' for the power AI sector, aims to onboard 30 companies this year to accelerate technology validation and industrial application.
Guangzhou, March 21, 2026 — A significant milestone was reached in China's push to integrate artificial intelligence with the power industry as the national Power Artificial Intelligence Pilot and Testing Base officially welcomed its first cohort of leading technology firms.
During the 2026 Alliance Work Conference and inaugural ecosystem event held in Guangzhou, eight enterprises and institutions were formally announced as the base's first tenants. The list includes industry giants Huawei, ZTE, and Baidu, alongside specialized players like Tianhe Technology, NARI Information & Communication Technology, Tianshu Zhixin, and Taihao Software. The base is operated by the AI Research Center of China Southern Power Grid Digital Group.
Positioned as a critical 'bridge platform' for the power AI sector, the pilot base has already established connections with over 100 organizations across various fields, facilitating efficient resource sharing and collaborative expansion.
The base's core mission is to translate industry application concepts into viable product solutions and rapidly bring them to market.
