Faraday Future (FF) has announced a strategic partnership with Redwood Education, a leading North American K12 education group, signing a contract for 23 FF EAI robots. According to Jia Yueting, the 23 robots constitute the largest human-like and bionic robot sales order in the company's history.
The collaboration between FF and Redwood Education will focus on deep cooperation in K12 robot curriculum development, robot teaching, teacher training, and programs for young developers.
Shareholder Meeting and Developer Platform Updates
At today's annual shareholder meeting, all proposals received approximately 80% approval. Jia Yueting also provided updates on the company's technological advancements:
- Developer Platform: The company aims to make robot development as simple as mobile app development. The platform will feature six development tools. The block-based coding tool BrainBlocks and the language tool EAI Soul, which builds robot personality and conversation styles, have been completed and will launch at the end of the month.
- Data Factory: The EAI data factory is advancing data collection and training. Decentralized real-machine data reporting software has been integrated, with testing underway to complete the first decentralized real-machine data collection by June.
Strategic Shift and Future Goals
Jia Yueting announced his return as Global CEO on May 11, marking a shift for the company to become a "US Physical AI Ecosystem Company." The company focuses on two product engines: EAI human-like and bionic robots and EAI car robots. Jia set a goal to achieve positive operating cash flow and profitability by 2026, with a target of delivering 1,000+ robots. Family education is identified as the core scenario for the To C sector, focusing on AI-driven education, learning, and companionship.
