Alibaba’s Qianwen AI Glasses Upgrade to 'Agent Glasses'; First AI Agent Earphones with Bose Debut
At WAIC 2026, Alibaba’s Qianwen unveils upgraded AI agent glasses with full-duplex voice, eye tracking, and health monitoring, plus first AI agent earphones co-developed with Bose.
Shanghai, July 17, 2026 – On the opening day of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026, Alibaba’s Qianwen (Qwen) brand announced two major hardware launches: an upgraded version of its AI glasses rebranded as “Agent Glasses,” and its first-ever AI Agent earphones, co-developed with audio giant Bose.
Agent Glasses: Smarter Perception and Interaction
The next-generation Qianwen Agent Glasses move beyond simple AI assistance, integrating intelligent agent capabilities for enhanced service and decision-making. The glasses can now dynamically invoke third-party Skills and Agents on demand, expanding their utility in real-world scenarios.
To deepen interaction with the physical world, Qianwen introduced a suite of new technologies:
- Full-Duplex Voice: Upgraded voice architecture enables natural, interruptible conversation. The system can recognize intent even in noisy environments, allowing users to speak and listen simultaneously—much like a human dialogue.
- Eye Tracking & Gaze Control: In collaboration with Ant Group, Qianwen debuts iris-based identity verification for high-security authentication. Eye tracking combined with an always-on visual perception system instantaneously locks onto whatever the user looks at. The glasses also feature upgraded 3D spatial display and 3D spatial audio for a more immersive experience.
- Real-Time Health Monitoring: A first for AI glasses, the device integrates PPG and temperature sensors to measure heart rate, blood oxygen, HRV, and more. The system generates personalized AI health reports and builds a health memory over time. For example, it can detect eye fatigue after prolonged reading—monitoring gaze changes, blink frequency, and posture—then prompt the user to rest or adjust. Long-term trends are tracked and interpreted with actionable suggestions.
All of the above technologies are slated for commercial deployment in the Qianwen AI Agent Glasses within the year. Existing Qianwen AI Glasses models (S1 and G1) will also receive these Agent capabilities via OTA updates, boosting their ability to understand and execute personalized tasks.
First AI Agent Earphones with Bose
Also unveiled at WAIC, the Qianwen AI Agent Earphones mark the company’s first foray into audio wearables. Engineered in partnership with Bose, the earphones leverage Bose’s veteran acoustic team for tuning, delivering high-fidelity sound with a balance of clarity and richness—all within a comfortable, open-ear clip design suitable for all-day wear.
Integrating Qianwen’s AI assistant core, the earphones support real-time simultaneous translation, meeting summarization, health logging, and other productivity features.
“These devices are not just accessories—they are new interactive interfaces that blend AI agency with everyday life,” a Qianwen spokesperson said. “We’re excited to see how users and developers build on this platform.”
